It was bound to happen, we became a victim of our own success. After
years of swelling the walls and shaking the floors at the Hive Mind house,
Hive Mind Halloween has gotten too big for its britches.
So we got ourselves a new pair of britches: this
year's Hive Mind Halloween will be held at
Hengst Studio by Lake Union in Seattle.
Join us for a journey down the rabbit hole and into a
warren of music and mayhem. DJ's Brannon,
Diem,
DjML, Floorm@, Sherman Funk
and Smoothie will pump the beats 'til dawn while you
shimmy beneath the caterpillars, explore the bunny's sensual tunnels and
grin, grin, grin with the Cheshire Cat.
This is a private event
for the friends of Hive Mind and is not open to the general
public. Please bring a printed copy of this invitation! Also note,
you will not be admitted without a costume, no exceptions!
To cover expenses, quality liquor
will be served from a donation bar and we'll also ask for an optional $5 donation at the door. 100% of
proceeds after expenses will go to Room
to Read, a fantastic organization that builds schools and libraries and
funds girls' scholarships in poor communities in Nepal, Cambodia, India,
Vietnam and Laos.
