This is not how you get rid of a hive of bees.
Not.
Class A f*wit, and the people commenting on his "awesome" approach to bees.
Even before I got a hive I knew there were better ways of dealing with bees.
This makes me sick. Don’t these people know that a swarm in May is worth a load of hay? What adds insult to injury is that a swarm is the most docile state that you can possibly find bees in. They sting to defend their hive, but when they have no hive, nor brood, nor food stored, they are VERY unlikely to sting.
Educate the public. They assume every bee is an AHB.
Stupid on it's own, but even more stupid that the advertise and document just how stupid they are.
This made me cry. :(
Ignorance is NOT bliss.
Most firestations have beekeepers on file to capture swarms.
